I have written 2000+ blogs in the last five years. From making small and major mistakes in my content, like having no keywords and poor structure, to making my blogs dominate the #1 rank on Google, I have learned a lot of things over time.

Yes, that’s true, because I believed that humans learned from their mistakes, and I never made a mistake again.

I believe that writing content for humans that also gets ranked on Google isn’t two different things – but they actually complement each other when done right. Most of the new writers make this mistake at the start of their career – so stop considering these two as different angles.

Is there any ninja technique that I followed?

Nope.

I just started giving more importance to the reader I write for. From the reader’s pains to understanding what they literally want, I filtered out everything from the reader’s perspective. Yet, I corrected mistakes in my content too. From mastering the art of storytelling to learning all the SEO points that a writer must know, I focused on honing my craft in every aspect.

It took me 3-4 months to see my first blog ranking on Google and almost a year to see all my blogs automatically getting indexed and ranked.

And now, I have built such skills so inherently that I didn’t need to give any extra effort to get my content ranked and indexed on Google. It’s just the power of consistent effort and dedication to improvement that has allowed me to achieve success in my writing.

Writing great content isn’t just about choosing the right words and playing with humans’ minds and search engine robots. It’s the art of blending creativity, authenticity, and value to create a meaningful connection with your audience.

      2. Place the keyword in the introduction section, and maintain the overall keyword density between 1 and 1.5% without stuffing.
      3. Don’t make your content sound like a robot by talking only about the topic. Add your personal touch, feelings, and emotions.
      4. Break content into logical sections so that readers and search engines can easily scan the information.
      5. Imagine Google as a reader, not a machine. Train your brain to stop thinking about keywords and focus on providing valuable information to the target audience.
      6. Surprise the readers with an unexpected twist, fun facts, and engaging stories related to the topic.

      3. Think Cinematically – Don’t Explain, Paint Scenes

        Let your reader enjoy the imagination of your mental movies.

        Instead of saying “why SEO is important,” swap it with “Imagine publishing a blog today and watching it on the first page when you awake tomorrow.”

        These kinds of sentences mentally fluctuate the reader’s mindset and transport them into a more visual and engaging state of mind. This cinematic approach will help in creating a memorable and impactful reading experience for your audience.

          Writing for one person, and not everyone, allows the writers to focus on deep engagement with a specific type of reader, instead of just covering basic and universal information that applies to all.           5. Leave Your Readers With Momentum

            The way you end your content equally matters in the same way as the way you open it. What most of the writers made mistakes in is that they usually end up with a flat “that’s it” or a generic summary section. That’s what your reader might not prefer reading at any cost.

            Think of the conclusion as a part of handling them with a spark, not just putting a set of instructions. So, instead of just recapping the same information you have already covered above, inspire them and give them a dare to try something new.

            Like, instead of saying “hope this helps,” you could say, “Try opening a new Google Doc and rewrite a mini version of a blog implementing all points mentioned above.”

            These kinds of endings don’t just conclude but also launch a new challenge or idea for the reader to engage with the content in a more attractive way, making your content more valuable and informative.

            6. Start Stronger, Don’t Just Warm Up

              Put out all your efforts in setting up the first 3 lines of your content. These lines matter more than the entire content.

              If a reader has decided to search for a particular topic on Google, then he/she will definitely open a lot of already published articles. He will try to give 2-3 seconds to scan all the articles and will find out which one to read.

              In those 2-3 seconds, you have to grab his attention with your starting lines. These lines need to be so powerful and impressive that the ones who read them will be compelled to read the article completely.

              A strong introduction will act as a mental map that guides the reader through the subsequent information and makes them eager to continue reading. It’s just like the first impression, which sets the tone for the rest of the article, so make sure these are captivating and intriguing to draw in your audience from the start.

              7. Win the Readers Early

                While indulging your readers in storytelling, it’s also important to deliver value faster before they lose patience. You want to hook the readers from the very beginning and keep them engaged throughout.

                Now, by providing valuable information early on, you can ensure that your readers stay interested and continue reading the post until the end. It will also establish a strong first impression that sets the stage for a positive and engaging reader experience.

                If you fail to deliver the value early in your content, the readers are more likely to leave, no matter how valuable or well-written the rest of the information is.
